The City of Atlanta/Department of Aviation (DOA) announces the availability of the Draft Environmental Assessment (DEA) for a proposed project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  The DEA was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA), Federal Aviation Administration instructions for implementing NEPA, and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.  The proposed project would widen Concourse D to, among other reasons, provide a higher passenger level of service through enhanced passenger movement inside the concourse.  The proposed project would also replace the Domestic Terminal North Parking Deck and the South Parking Deck parking capacities because these existing facilities are reaching their useful life span.

The DOA is inviting public comments on the DEA.  Before including your address, phone number, email address, or other personal identifying information in your comments, be advised that your entire comment – including your personal identifying information, may be made publicly available at any time.  While we can request that your comment be withheld from public review of your personal identifying information, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.
