Project Introduction
US Route 67 from Fulkerson Drive to Crystal Lake Road in Jerseyville, IL, has been identified for pavement replacement in accordance with the Department’s Transportation Asset Management Plan (TAMP).
The proposed improvement is to replace the existing pavement while staying within the footprint of the existing roadway, where possible. This improvement may involve drainage, ADA, and minor intersection improvements. Public involvement will be completed using a context-sensitive solutions approach.

Timeline
The project is currently in Phase I: Preliminary Design and Environmental Studies. This phase of the project involves coordinating with the public, identifying issues and concerns, and proposing solutions. Phase I is expected to conclude with a final report in early 2028.
Phase I will include a public meeting to present study findings and potential improvements and receive public comment. Public meeting information will be posted on this website as it becomes available.
